What is Athens?
An Athens account is used to access subscribed Library resources when NOT connected to the Local Area Network (LAN). If you're using a computer connected to the network you do not need an Athens account. A personal Athens account also links with Browzine, where users can create a personal bookshelf of favorite journals for easier access.
Once your account is active you can use your logon to access resources directly at the vendor's site or visit the Tripler Library Open Athens page to see a list of resources that are available with your logon.
What is Browzine?
Browzine is an easy way to track and read your favorite medical journals on a personal device or computer. Browzine works hand in hand with a MyAthens account, allowing users to read full text journals.
